Consolidate all the euro leagues into one so all the best players will go against one another. You can't tell me there is enough talent for all them damn clubs. Could you imagine how shytty bball would be if there were 100 teams. It's some Kwame Brown and Smush Parker type nikkas out there.
if only they did this :ohlawd:

a novel concept.:ehh:

It can be like a league of Champions and the other best teams in each League. They could play matches when the Leagues dont play, maybe in the middle of the week. Have some type of tournament and determine the Champions of this new League at the end of each season. It could be like a Super Bowl! I think you stumbled into something gold! :ohhh:

We can call it... the League of Winners. Or the postseason of champions. Or football winners. Damn breh, idk. You got the ideas, you can find a name.

I respect the game of soccer and the athletes that play it. But soccer is so boring to watch. 0-0 ending games :beli: 1-0 games :beli: Running around for 2-3 hours without scoring and the ball keeps getting kicked out of bounds :comeon: Extreme flopping. 20 different leagues. i dont understand how people can sit through an entire soccer game/match :mindblown:

Granted there are some great athletes that play soccer, the speed, footwork and agility that many soccer players have is tremendous. But I feel alot of the talent is essentially wasted and is not maximized. I think that if there were less players on the field and there was no offsides and more scoring, I may watch soccer.

Buy since its not like that :camby:

What would it take for you to start supporting soccer?

Rent, borrow, or buy a cheap used copy of Fifa Soccer.. That's what got me started years ago. Either that or don't watch it. Stick to our American Football, basketball and baseball:manny:

I like watching soccer, started really getting into it a few world cups ago and I used to support my homegirl who played in college by going to her games. But I don't enjoy watching euro soccer since I have no attachment to the team and MLS seems too contrived and really doesn't have a strong cultural foundation. I honestly don't think us now will truly appreciate soccer en masse, but these kids who are in it now and who are trying to get better and aiming to make America more competitive (on the men's side), will see it pick up in popularity down the line, hopefully gaining some stronger cultural roots with American audiences.
you need to come back to DC. I'll get you into it.

if they stopped trying to be so europeon.

If you've ever been to or watched an MLS game or especially a sounders game, its like people PRETENDING to be fans of real euro football clubs. it feels phony and doesn't appeal to a core american audience.
You got it all wrong. That's how soccer fans are all over the world. The Pacific Northwest has one of the more rabid MLS fan bases in the country. What really cheapens The MLS is that some teams aren't playing in Soccer stadiums.

The league is only like 18 years old. Give it some more time. I hate clubs playing in NFL stadiums as well

Maybe if the game wasnt 3 hours of running just to end 1-''kneel''
You must be talking about the let's-play-ads-after-every-little-stoppage-and-spend-an-hour-reviewing-a-play sport called football? Soccer is free flowing with no fukking stoppages and drama because of how hard it is to score a goal.

Is that continent of Africa not enough for you? :what: Why would American blacks play soccer when they're indoctrinated to play Football/Basketball?
