you just gota realize you look like an idiot in the process.. Benoit was my favorite wrestler back in like 97-98 when HBK quit, but i cant rep Benoit. if a match is on tv i will watch it and reflect on his life, but i'm not wearing his gear. that would be foolish.

I'm not wearing these shirts out at the store. I wear them when I do stuff around the house or sleeping. I saw a guy wearing a Hogan shirt last night at a WWE event! That Hogan shirt has been tucked away in my clothing holder for years along with other wrestling shirts. I'm sure it's just gonna stay there for a long long time. I'm not detached from the situation. I'm just a man who lives in the gray and not the black and white of society.

you cant just be detached from the situation and think its ok...thats like me as a black man wearing some Nazi shyt but saying hey i'm not jewish, i needed a shirt to jog in lol

Bad analogy because why would you wear a nazi shirt if you already know what it represented? We just now found out about this Hogan thing. Everyone already knows what it represented before and now.

The "nazi" sign was once a looked at as a sign of peace. The Germans just tilted it and now it's looked at as a disgraceful sign. :mjcry:

see and here you go caping for the swastika now :mjpls: :camby:

the analogy wasnt meant to be taken 100% literally..but thats how you will look to people out in the streets rocking Hogan and Benoit gear even if you're just in the yard cutting the grass.

not sure if your caping was serious :yeshrug:

the Buddhist religious symbols swastika has a much longer history in human world than the Nazi symbols. Hitler stole the Buddhism symbol, but he was using the symbols differently. In Buddhism, the swastika is put flat and not in black color, but the Nazi put the swastika's corner pointing upwards and made it black.

In Buddhism, the swastika (Sanskrit svastika, "all is well") is a cross with four arms of equal length, with the ends of each arm bent at a right angle. Sometimes dots are added between each arm.

The swastika is an ancient symbol found worldwide, but it is especially common in India. It can be seen in the art of the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Celts, Native Americans, and Persians as well Hindus, Jains and Buddhists.

The swastika's Indian name comes the Sanskrit word svasti, meaning good fortune, luck and well being.

In Hinduism, the right-hand (clockwise) swastika is a symbol of the sun and the god Vishnu, while the left-hand (counterclockwise) swastika represents Kali and magic. The Buddhist swastika is almost always clockwise, while the swastika adopted by the Nazis (many of whom had occult interests) is counterclockwise.

In Buddhism, the swastika signifies auspiciousness and good fortune as well as the Buddha's footprints and the Buddha's heart. The swastika is said to contain the whole mind of the Buddha and can often be found imprinted on the chest, feet or palms of Buddha images. It is also the first of the 65 auspicious symbols on the footprint of the Buddha.
The swastika has also often been used to mark the beginning of Buddhist texts. In China and Japan, the Buddhist swastika was seen as a symbol of plurality, eternity, abundance, prosperity and long life.

The swastika is used as an auspicious mark on Buddhist temples and is especially common in Korea. It can often be seen on the decorative borders around paintings, altar cloths and banners. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is also used as a clothing decoration.

Come on, man. I'm just posting the origins on how it was before. :comeon: :snoop:
i understand that, but you can post the origin of anything viewed as despicable by the avg person and it will only come off as you defending it. im not accusing you of that though, just pointing out thats how it will be taken. thats the reason why it'd be wrong to rock these guys gear out in public if you disagree with them.

i loved hulk hogan..he's the reason i even watch wrestling. but this shyt got me looking for anything Hogan related in my possession to get rid of it. i just cant associate myself with it..even if its just a shirt i do laundry in.

As someone said cacs cant relate to other peoples problems because in their entire cac lives they are either ignoring it or piling on. Doesnt surprise me at all that a cac will sit there and say that they will still wear his shirt. It didnt even take a full day for people to start caping for Cacamania and for people(read cacs) to stop being offended and put him on the rode to redemption.

I'm aware of how the general public views things. But this is a message board. Things are taken at face value.

and at face value you just basically said the swastika aint all that bad and posted a bunch of info like it was supposed to make me forget all the bad things i think about when i see one lol

If I was constantly defending it then I could see the caping, but I just made one comment, you responded, I posted origins. That's it. :ld:
