He realized Hip-Hop wasn't his thing.
He, Kid Cudi & Charles Hamilton and others of that type (Rock fans moon lighting as rappers..) kinda just got phased out.
I think breh had a song where he was singing and handing out nice notes to people or whatever a couple years ago.

Kid Cudi still outchea killing whatchutalm bout.

I came up around the time I Love College and Asleep in the Bread Aisle came out. Son probably won’t read this but that was, and is one of my favourite albums ever. Son was nice wit it and had a mad run in 08-10 blog era.

that was my thing, he was different, and he had the backing behind him, it’s like damn dude disappeared into the shadows like Batman

So I got a group chat with a couple homies. Today we challenged each other to post an album in the chat that we were 100% sure each other had never heard.

I posted 88 Keys - Death of Adam, one of my boys posted Asleep In The Bread Aisle. I definitely remember it because i was heavy on the blogs (had my own too) but I never listened to it in its entirety. So I gave it a listen

12+ years after its release, production sounds like 2008-10 era and the subject matter is definitely for the 17-23 age range. In short, it didn't age well

Gonna go thru his other tapes and albums too
