@ISO, you cursed me out because you thought Zion is Anthony Mason Jr.

Nah you acting like a cornball now and dikk riding. Maybe this is why nikkas hate bro because of stans like you

Mason was an All-Star, a 6MOY, an All-Defensive team member, and made an All-NBA team in his day. You talking about he was a 3rd rounder and all this bullshyt. He was not an "average" athlete. You don't see stocky muscular 6'7 260 pound nikkas running the break like he did or handling the ball that fluidly, or having the type of body control he had, and like I said Mase was fast in the open floor with the foot speed to defend guards.

We get it Zion is way more athletic, I conceded he was a lot more athletic off jump. You only talking about athleticism and not factoring skills. The ball handling, the passing, the potential for defensive versatility, the shooting limitations, the fact they are both left handed, the similar stocky frames. But aight you wanna act purposefully dense. You acting like Zion don't have a player archetype and a handul of players he shares vitals similarities with. The game ain't all about athleticism especially at the next level.

Yeah, Ty Lue is Steve Nash without the court vision they're so similar :gladbron::stopitslime:

You saying Zion has no comp, that's dikk riding :mjlol:

LeBron is waaayyyy more athletic than Magic Johnson, that didn't stop scouts, analysts, and fans from comparing them

He ain't even really a starter now tho? He might forever be best as a 6th man. I just find it hard because when I watched JR for the Texas Titans, I saw a good talent but he had no position

He’s an hyper athletic Anthony Mason with that mass, ball handling, left handedness, passing ability/I.Q., positional versatility, he is his closest comp in stocky body type and wingspan
:mjlol: Josh Smith got a few things he do similar to LeBron James. No one is comparing him to LeBron James.

:russ: you still on this Anthony Mason shyt

Mason is the closest thing to Zion there is in physically profile and skillset. Zion is just a G.O.A.T. level athlete which puts him in a class of his own.

You're just saying that because they are both dark skin, slick dribbling, brolic debo looking nikkas. You gotta take the L here brodie.

Aesthetically their games may look alike from a glance, but they play nothing alike. Mase was more in the point forward play initiator mold while Zion is an extremely aggressive offensive force. Defensively Mase was an enforcer and low block rebound gobbler, while Zion is more of a gambler and weakside and trailing shot blocker. Mason was never a high flyer or aggressive offensively. He had a nice mid range game but was basically the first Ben Simmons. He only made two (2!) 3 pointers in his entire career and never really shot beyond 18 feet.

Zion will average more PPG as a rookie than Mason's highest career season (16 PPG). That said I loved Mase as a Knick, my daddy played with him in AAU and high school and said that the Knicks handcuffed his game and we never got to see the real Anthony Mason in the NBA.
