There's plenty of things to buy a 1 yr old...

Shirts, shoes, hats, suits, cute little accessories like a baby watch n dress shoes...

I bought my little cousin 3 different outfits for his 2nd birthday. Costed $100 but it was nice. 1st fit was a laid back outfit with a matching fitted, 2nd was a suit, & 3rd were really cute pajamas with big cute slippers. I went to like 6 different stores but I found the perfect gifts.

Go to Toys R Us and ask one of the sales reps to pick out the popular toy for that age. I bought this thing that you push that helps the kid learn to walk.
