community college is the same everywhere.

you just go to class and go home. way different than highschool

shyt was ill when i could leave to the restroom without asking for teachers permission. or you can leave class and go home whenever you want.

I went to community college for 3 years. Had to do an extra year because I kept messing up, but it was for the better since i learned more and bettered myself. Anyway cc is cool. Just make sure to involve yourself. For me I was in classes where Id meet some cool ass people. Had art with some cool people, took german and went fencing with my professor from germany and then to berlin with our class. Had engineering sketching. Made it up to calc with no intention. I stayed posted up in the math tutoring room and most people were mad cool. My history class was mad cool too. Smoked weed on our 10 min break and would come back to class smelling like loud lol. Just socialize man

Its different for some people but I hate it. The only positive is that you won't or shouldn't be in immense debt afterwards. Wish it had more of a public-college vibe, people in my age range, and better looking females.

I've been in CC for almost two years now and can say I haven't had a decent conversation with anyone besides the people I knew before going there(high school, work, etc.). I'm not the most social person, a lil antisocial actually, but no one interest me.

Gonna be going there really soon but is it like high school or something

I went to a cc then transferred, I found that the people at the cc were more focused; than at my uni. Yea you can the cc was high school, but my uni was more high school like. If your focused hang with focused people, leave the lames a lone. If want to be wise you walk with the wise, if you want to be a loser hang with losers.

I enjoyed my cc more than my university :yeshrug:

Well it depends where you go. Either way its gonna be dif from high school cuz most of your classmates will be older. Most of my classmates are in their 20s, and theres people in their 50s and shyt too. But i rarely meet people who are 18-19 like me.

And if drugs and parties and shyt are your thing there will be a lot of people like that. You just gotta seek them out cuz people aren't really as friendly as in high school. They're paying to go so they wanna get their work done and bounce lol.

I've never really went to a real college so i can't compare and contrast. Just make sure you're ready to work cuz professors don't give a fukk if you pass or not. If you really apply yourself its super easy to get high grades though. You just gotta show the professor that you really are putting the effort in.

If i was you i would look into online classes too

It's like this...
I'm 31...
If I had my head on straight and was focused I would have loved to go to a UNIVERSITY right after highschool...
But in reality there was nothing I would have done but WASTE money and be in debt with nothing to show for it...

Coming out of high school I had absolutely zero study skills...
Because I didn't need to study to pass a class in high school...

That formula just doesn't work in college...
Junior College/Community College is a great low cost way of getting use to college course work and getting your general classes out the way at half the price...

High School-like, with more freedom. It's incredibly easy to allow yourself to bullshyt through it, so watch yourself  Get in. Get your shyt done. Do some serious research/contemplating on which 4 year you'll transfer to and what you'll major in and then get out. Enjoy yourself, but get outta that 4 year asap too

have a plan. 2-3 years (4 at the very absolute max) you dont want to be stuck in CC for like 7 years and still haven't transferred.
