Career was basically empty calories. Man spent his whole career basically playing 21 in the NBA which is remarkable in itself when you think about it

He never should've gone to the Warriors....He was never going to get the legacy boost from winning a championship with GS......There were other teams he could've gone to where he would've gotten the legacy boost had he won (Wash,NY,LA)

Legendary skill with his size but nothing about KD exudes confidence. Something seems so hollow about his career and how he went about things. Ran to a stacked GS team that he couldn’t get past on OKC. Left them because he couldn’t handle the discourse around him joining and just be confident about his own decision. Also basically is on record saying he was jealous of Steph.

Forms an all time bomb of a super team in Brooklyn and lets Kyrie & Harden walk all over him. Shows absolutely no ability to help guide a franchise as “the guy” and make sure they stay focused on the goal of winning a title. He says it himself, he’s just a hooper, it seems as if he offers so little as a strong in house leader that most GOATs do. Watching that BK situation break down was sad, he offered zero resistance to it.

Then on top of that you have all the twitter burner shyt and we got a glimpse into just how petty and unfocused he could seem. It just came across juvenile tbh. And this could seem unfair, but there is something about his lack of building a family off the court that feels weak too. You got hundred of millions of dollars and you got no family/kids? How wouldn’t you want to take advantage of the situation you’re in there? It just also comes across weak in a way, I hate to get personal there, but it’s something glaring to me and fits KDs whole immature type of persona. It just never felt like he grew up. Even now in PHX he seems happy to be in the background and act like he’s riding passenger next to Booker driving. Here he is going on 36 years old now, I feel like once he steps away from the game he’ll have some regrets. He should have just owned the GS decision and ran off like 5 titles. It just gets back to his lack of confidence.
