I honesy to god don't think people really watched the Wolves that often but Love has pretty much always shown to have great scoring ability.
The Timberwolves were fukking awful with Love off the court and ok with him on it but Love has always been a great offensive player when allowed to be put into a rhythm. Lebron and Kyrie pretty much look to get Love going as soon as possible because they're pretty much unstoppable if he's hot.
Love used to be a first option and he's one of those players where seeing the ball go through the hoop a couple times, early on, will keep on the entire game.
They treat Love as the primary scoring option on a lot of their posts because most defenses are keyed into stopping Lebron and Kyrie.

He's always been a great rebounder, passer and had range.
It's hard to play next to Lebron when you're taking the 3rd role like bosh did.

Love was a beast still is i guess its true it takes awhile to get used to your new teammates when the others might be on your level or better than you
