GUMBO!
U can find a decent Philly anywhere.....Mexicans cook them in Philly, Mexicans cook them in Chicago. I had one the other week at Philly's Best.

Now good GUMBO?

First of all, the seafood is regional and tastes different in different parts of the country.
i wanna neg you but you don't know any better THAT'S NOT A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK .
To answer the thread probably Gumbo ...
First off no one calls it a Philly cheesesteak. It's just a cheesesteak or steak.....
Secondly it's really about the bread...Philly has some of the oldest and best bakeries in the country...
Third GREEN PEPPERS DO NOT GO INTO A CHEESESTEAK
The best cheesesteaks in Philly are really at the around the way spots in the hood. If you need to go to an official one not in the hood...
Max's (it's in the hood but in a high traffic area so you should be good during the day)
Phillip's
Dalessandro's
Ishkabibbles for the chicken cheesesteak
Tony Luke's if all else fails
