I can dunk pretty easily, but can barely bench 225 lbs.

I have more functional strength. I move 230lb dudes on the court pretty easily. Always been on calisthenics, but hate the gym. I think a lot of static weight training is overrated.

Most grown men likely couldn't get 135 up once. 225 is a hefty goal.

Unless you are a trained athlete or you like lifting weights you need to lift regularly to get to the point where you are benching 225 or more. But you can get functional strength with various exercises.
Well in Coli World 225 is warmup weight

Out of US men, I’d guess 2% have dunked and 5% have ever benched 225. Hoopers dont lift so I’d say the percentage to do both is less than 1%

Out of this site, I’d say about 7-8% have ever dunked :mjpls: , 10% have benched 225, 3-4% have done both
