This is the Mecca of hot chicken. A car crashed into the original location so they're moving. There's another branch on my part of town (Antioch).

These dudes have changed the game. TSU grads who have opened locations in Memphis & Atlanta. Basically Black Excellence personified.

This is a Black-owned establishment. You wouldn't know it unless you listen to the background music. High-end restaurant. More Black Excellence.

This was mentioned earlier. Swanky little brunch spot near TSU, Meharry, Fisk. Mad popular with the colonizers.

Everywhere...You never there.
Nashville has an authentic vibe that Charlotte lacks. It has a style, a culture to it.:ehh:

Yeah Charlotte is still trying to develop and solidify an identity . Some people who move there from smaller cities and little towns don’t really pick up on it as strong but I see you have . It’ll get there .

Crazy because I know someone who recently got back from Nashville and said they were pleasantly surprised .

Nashville’s housing market is booming too with all the growth .

:leon: oh look at all the Nashvillians in here.

I lived in that area for many years, been away for about 5 years but i remember Nashville very fondly. I used to bounce for a bit at Graham Central Station(giant multi level club) before it closed. Obv i haven't been back in a while but the night life was always on point when i was there, they had a club for just about every kind of flavor you into. I remember they even had a club with like 80 percent Asians, i forgot the name though, but if you into PAAGs you could eat lol. There's hot spots all over the city but there's also one long strip with thousands of people walking around with a bunch of different clubs/bars/eateries, good food, good atmosphere, good music(it aint all country). I remember seeing Stevie Wonder play live there for like 4 and a half hour set, and then at the end a bunch of celebrities came on stage to party with Stevie, from Dave Chappelle to Aerosmith, best concert i ever been to. Then we went and had some of the best lamb gyros i ever tasted.

Nashville is dope breh, have fun.:wow:

Three of my siblings live in Nashville. 2 graduated from Vandy a few years ago and the other from Fisk.

Nashville is really trendy right now. I go down essentially every other month to not only visit them but because I have investment property down there. If I moved south, Nashville is at the top of the list right now.

Yup Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham and places in Mississippi were the ways our folks got to Chicago and a lot of folks in Chicago have been moving back to those places over the last few years.

I lived in North Carolina many years ago too. I liked that State and the people in it reminded me of the people in Tennessee and it made sense after I learned that many of the families in Tennessee actually came over from North Carolina during and after slavery. I really like this area.
It all comes back full circle; folks returning home :wow:
I’m going back to NC one of these days.
