Honestly, my dad wasn't really there for me throughout my childhood. I knew him and I knew where he lives and we did spend some time together, but we never formed a close bond like that. Anyway, I always admired his ability to spit game at literally any girl and take rejection lightly and KIM. I've seen him do it with waitresses, random women, telephone operators, you name it 
His persistence and focus. If you give him a task he is going to complete it no matter what. It may lead to stubbornness or one track mindedness but he will get the job done.

When it came down to it he was interested in giving me the reigns as head of household after him; basically had me set for good once I was grown. There's plenty of other things but I still feel like that was the key goal intended.
