That beef looks rare, I like mine cooked a little more on the inside this is a little too much pink for me but to each his own.
I prefer mine around medium to medium well. Some folks like it rare to medium rare where it’s just browned a little on the outside but pink on the inside and looks like the meat in the O/P.
You’ll ruin a steak trying to make it well done though. I remember my dad use to get his steaks well done “talking about he wanted his meat fully cooked” as I got older I learned better when ordering for myself.
