i always tell people who aren't going to college right away to work at whatever you can/will hire you and go to community college. when i was i high school i was a fukking horrible student. worked for a year doing pretty physical labor in a warehouse and decided i hated it. got my shyt together real quick. i still think 16-18 year olds are way too immature to be making future career decisions personally.

anyway if you enjoy working and are still fukking up in community college then find a trade school. i found subjects that interested me in community college that weren't even broached upon in high school. i just think all it really takes is maturity and something to spark your interest to turn it around though.

going to college right out of high school is a waste of money anyway.
Totally fukking agree. I was in college taking bullshyt classes and my major was entertainment technology :why:

Had it not been for the IC & The Coli aint no telling where id be :young:

But now a nikka in that Cert Life, making big easy money, and get a job pretty much in any city i want :blessed:

if u a freshman or sophomore even, doesn't really matter, just do really well you last two years. Professionals like to see improvement.

Do extra curricular activities, ready, and research -- get some connections. You'll be good, don't make the mistake I made I decide not to get a degree. I have friends who did poorly in college, but they finished, and they are doing better than me now.

Trades for sure (plumbing, electricians, etc), but those will surely require schooling, just not college.

Sales is good, too if you have that salesman personality/hustle. Many good sales jobs do require a degree. Although there are some that don't, I think you'd be wise to finish up that degree by any means necessary if you go into sales.

If you don't want to do much of any pre-training, look at the airlines. Ground crews for airlines don't require college degrees, you just need to be dependable. And once your in, there'll be room for advancement if you mature and decide to get a degree later. Pay is shyt, but those flight benefits plus the ability to sell your companion pass for a few racks (of course it's against the rules) are :ohlawd:

sales person at most corporations including banks, at&T, Verizon making $60+k a year until you move up in the corporation and make more..

sales is about the hustle, not the degree. But some places like Oracle might require a degree to get hired.
I forgot to mention this

sales... or anything where you can make commission. If you're a people person with the gift of gab, sales is easy money.

My homeboy sells cruises out in Florida... some of the commission people get out there is :wow:

His homegirl has made 40k on commission JUST THIS YEAR:wow:

Get your CDL A license, hazmat, and tanker endorsements and move to Texas to become a tanker truck driver. Once you have two years experience under your belt you should be making $60k a year easily, and If you're willing to put in the work, you can make $100k a year hauling water in the oildfields down there.
