i need to get in on this brehs

Listen, I know everybody that works in I.T seems to be ballin, but ask them how many years of experience they have. If you aren't making over 60k+ after 5 - 7yrs of working in I.T you are doing something wrong. You can have all the certs you want, but if you have 0 experience......well good luck. and if you don't love it. You'll want to quit real fast.
I never saw the Value in A+ and few employers do tooYou need to start with your A+ first if you don't have any certs at the moment.

Me and this older cat at my job are pretty much the SMEs on Netapp and DotHill storage systems. Mostly netApp for me. And thats strictly CLI homes. Not that gay GUI shyt1. Experience
2. Virtualization is huge. So getting a cert for companies like VMWare, Citrix is is a huge plus.
3. Storage is also huge, EMC, HP, Dell, NetApp vendors are good to start
4. Cisco, can't go wrong with any Cisco certification
5. Microsoft is also still in huge demand, getting an MCP to start off with will get your foot in the door.
If any of you are interested in docs for CCNP and RHCE I have some i can share. Just PDFs and vids mostly.
