nah their stars were too old and the role players were just average. 92-95 Jazz were better.

:dahell:

97 utah jazz went 64-18
2nd in points per game
only lost 3 games in the first three rounds

karl malone averaged 28 ppg 10 boards and 5 assists per game, john stockton averaged 15 points and 11 boards

MJs body bag from the 90s all have a claim. 92 Blazers, 93 Knicks, 93 Suns, 96 Sonics, 97 Jazz, 98 Pacers.

02 Kings and the Donaghy fukkery is right next to the 05 Suns from the 00s.

It's hard to find a recent example that holds it's weight with those teams. Closest you get is probably 12 Baby OKC and 11 Chicago. I don't feel like any of those mid-10s Pacers or Grizzlies squads match up.
No...they don’t. And it’s deliberately obvious what you’re trying to do here :mjlol:

Malone (though was still great), Stockton and Hornceck were all 34/35 years olds. Ostertag & Byron Russel were average at best. the Jazz was better team when Stockton was still in his prime averaging 16 & 13 with Jeff Malone dropping 20 a night.

they had the best record because the league and especially the West wasn't great in the late 90s. the NBA was going through transition. I mean the Jazz faced a Clippers team with Loy Vaught as its leading scorer in the playoffs.

Man after Gordon hit the big three in game 5 I all but had my plane tickets booked for Cleveland:francis:.

As wrong as it was. A lot of rockets fans still don’t forgive chris Paul for his hamstrings. I was reading a list of most devastating injuries from that decade and that was number 2 behind only Rose against Philly. Both injuries changed the entire trajectory of the postseason.

Yeah but the league was diluted some. Expansion and older stars, new guard hadn't taken off yet..

They were good but Malone and Stockton were like 34 and 35 and Hornacek was also in his 30s
