What’s the best way to develop thick skin?

Im thinking getting in better shape is a good start.
Lately when I’m mad or sad I just play an album and try to do several sets of push ups during a song. Walk a bit to give my arms short break and back at it.

Eventually a whole body workout/routine and eventually the gym. Maybe I lack in the emotional intelligence apartment.

Get coaching or at least talk to someone that will be present and hold you accountable, words on a screen will not help.

I’ve done stand up 4 times lol.
I just can’t do cold approaching, I feel so ugly. Even when I get a cutie via work or app. It crumbles soon enough because I’m a game less simp. No matter how cute they think I am. fukk.

Here's a part of your problem...you already sound defeated. You'll never win if you already believe you lost...it's impossible

I know its cliche, but when you're cold approaching, its more about numbers. But I think the first rule is that you shouldn't be cold approaching if you can't handle the possibility of rejection. Its part of the game. 2nd part, would be anything that makes you feel self concious about talking to women, you should solve. Not because girls care about it, but because you care about it and its messing with your confidence.

And 1 other thing is, don't necessarily expect not to be nervous when approaching women. I always get nervous, but I've converted that feeling to being akin to standing in line before getting on a roller coaster.

These posts go hand in hand. A lot of people have no self awareness. They make things a bigger deal than it actually is, thats the problem. If you ask OP or a lot of people what they're depressed about, it's usually bullshyt in the grand scheme of things. But their brain is wired to harp and dwell on those things. It sucks to be them.
