I get bored easily and live in a city with an endless supply of attractive women and a favorable ratio

Also I’m admittedly self-centered and not willing to put the required effort when quite frankly it’s easy for me to replace them.
do you see your mentality ever changing?

I swear after 911 the world got super cynical :(. Lots of listlessness, apathy and despair in this thread :mjcry:. I feel like society lost its enchantment with love, community, life and the good things a long time ago. No one wants commitment. No one wants to be devoted to something. Everyone wants options. Everyone wants convenience. Everyone wants to be a person in a digital, hopeless world :to:.
i dont think it lost it...i think its idea of love became unrealistic

No fukking clue, breh.

The idea of being with one person just doesn’t suit me right now

I was on a date with a girl last week who is probably the prototype (well-educated, old money / connected family, good looking, gym rat, etc.), but I know she’s looking for something substantive, not a fling.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting here like “she’s cool as hell but summer is around the corner and I can’t be tied down in the summer :jbhmm:

:russ:

I have a specific type of a girl I date but I always know my eyes will wonder regardless of how “perfect” she is. This city, in my opinion, doesn’t promote serious relationships — too many options, especially if you check certain boxes.

hmmm im similar but for what you described id retire

i had a ghanaian chick, oxford law grad, good job (tho not a lawyer), nice ass, cooks, gym rat, decent face, and personality wise we have great chemistry
but im not attracted enough to her face and i feel like she might have a bit of a stomach. Plus she is 32 (im 27). Plus like you said summers around the corner so i cant be locked down to her. not good enough. my mind says yes...my dikk/heart says nah. She has been mad demanding of my time so im saying fukk it cause i know itll only snow ball into her pressuring me into a relationship

theres another girl whos almost all of the above but indian and got a better body and is younger, I'd retire for her i think (surprising cause shes not black/african). But we'll see

the options thing is real ...not even for us but them. i feel like shes got too many options and I'm stuck between competing or playing it cool so i dont scare her off
