Averaging 28.2 and 6 while maintaining high efficiency and a 26.9 PER.
Despite not being as naturally talented or gifted as Kyrie Irving and John Wall, I think he deserves to be the starting East PG in the All-Star game.
He's having an unforeseen level jump in his performance in the middle of his career that's similar to Steph's accession before the MVPs (not on the same scale but it's similar in that he's randomly entered an entirely different stratosphere than he was just a few seasons ago).
This year he's averaging 10+ points per game over his career average, so that improvement speaks to his work-ethic and that fact he's barely even 5'9 eating like this in the NBA. You can't don't nothing but respect him.
