Aint they all in the same boat?
Cause religion ain't shyt but theories right? :patrice:

Preacher go up there and talk about a magical man turning water into wine = sane messenger

Random nikka on the internet saying that the CIA knocked off Kennedy=internet nut job
religion is lessons and a guide for better spiritual development. you can take all that shyt literal if you want but that's really the point going over your head. which ironically is most religious people...

conspiracy has taken the place of superstition in the modern times. some is healthy, a lot is more like paranoia. to be full blown stuck believing everything is a conspiracy is a problem and a place a lot of uneducated people find themselves. again there's a line between healthy skepticism and full blown paranoia which is where a lot of the conspiracy crowd are ending up. why does education matter? because we use our knowledge to filter through the information we are receiving and discern between good and bad.

people saw Jesus die and comeback to life
they were persecuted and nobody recanted

otoh, conspiretards will fold under the slightest bit of adversity

How we know he was really dead?
If he also doing impossible feats like walking on water (scientifically impossible), born from a Virgin (scientifically impossible), magically converting one none alcoholic liquid to an alcoholic one.
How does that sound anymore far out than aliens at area 51? You gotta be a tad bit conspiracy theorist to believe that shyt right? :jbhmm:

Too much emphasis is put on God and the devil as entities outside us as opposed to a reflection of our best and worst.

How is religion not a guide? it's all about teaching people how to live righteous and for those that can't grasp that then they have to live in service to god for fear of the devil. If you are enlightened you do right because you value it not because it's expected of you or to avoid damnation.

The devil is a fail safe. God is something we can contemplate on for an eternity. I never denied a higher power just said the books in religion are not meant to be literal.

Tell that to a lot of religious people. Worldwide its follow this sentence in this book or be pu ished or shamed.
Even the idea of a devil is on par with Bigfoot conspiracy theories

Something happened 2000 years ago that caused devout Jews to forsake their laws and customs to follow a carpenter which caused a major shift in world history.

Same for Muhammad although I think Islam is illegitimate.

The religions are just trying to explain what happened.

Trying to provide an explanation around extraordinary events, in a sense, links these faiths to that of conspiracal thoughts. Where they diverge is that the faiths provide witness accounts and historical evidence whereas conspiracies are largely based on subjective thoughts with specious evidence.

Hilariously the people who follow the church of Satan are seemingly pound for pound better humans than those who follow god :mjlol:
