Being too cheap to pay the $60 to renew my tabs.

Ended up getting pulled over and got hit with with a ticket plus a $200/yr Driver's Responsibility fee for two years. Forgot to pay the fee the 2nd year, and then got pulled over when my license was suspended (I didn't know). So I got hit with MORE Driver's Responsibilty Fees, this time $500/yr for two years, plus had to pay to get my license reinstated.

All because I was too cheap to renew my tabs when they expired. :smh:

I am in this situation right now.

It's embarrassing, I messed up money on more than one occasion. I'm not young but I'm not old but I'm paying for my mistakes now.
  • College/Student Loans for one defaulted on like 2 of them :sadbron:
  • Having no medical insurance and getting injured
  • Moving to LA and back to the east coast spent about 15k dollars. Rented cars and didn't buy one for like 4 months because I REFUSED to ride in a hooptie :snoop: ... definitely regretting that now.:mindblown:

Bought a Escalade. In the. beginning it was cool but it became clear quickly that i was wasting money I got rid of it after almost 2 years and got something more practical and easy on gas. The money I wasted on that truck could've gone to more productive things but i was young and stuntin on some dumb shyt.

You live and you learn I've become a much wiser spender i got a family so i have to keep the stash right and I'm putting money away for my children's education.

This isn't me, it was my pops, but he knew the guy who invented the pet rock. My dad clowned his ass super tough and told him that his stupid idea would be a waste of time and wouldn't make him a penny.

This was after he offered my dad a chance to invest in the idea. He says that he still stands by his rejection in principle, but admittedly regrets not being able to make money off of stupid yuppies in the 1970s.

Buying my BMW. I like it a lot but honestly I probably didn't need that car. Could've got something a good bit cheaper that is 90-95% as good.

I just bought a BMW. It's used though and I got it from my boss for about 2500 less than what it's really worth. It's paying for itself, though. I was able to strike up a conversation with a guy who run a talent agency in Studio City because he's a big BMW aficionado. Stuntin' up and putting out an image like that can help if you have the next step in mind career-wise.

Sold a used car to a small used car dealership. They started off saying they'd give me $2000. Later, they changed their minds to $1000. I was desparate and took that offer.
I was younger then. I should have just tried to sell it on my own.

Putting $10000 down on a BMW 7-Series, and thinking it was acceptable to pay near 800 dollars a month. I'm glad I was able to get out that lease.
