Whats the final verdict on BioShock Infinite? (spoilers of course)

about 3 hours in. this is slowly becoming one of my favorite games

im finally just finishing the game, far from a favorite. the ending was bugged out, i had to reflect back to figure out what happened.

graphics crazy.story kind of stupid. gameplay fun even though the maxed out shotgun made it cake. plus i only used 2 vigors the whole game

i dont regret playing it

Ole buddy was trying to act like it was some GOAT style shyt. I never hated the game. Actually reinstalled and played it again a couple of months ago. It's a fun little game and the little hand crank traversal system or whatever is a fun gameplay mechanic. Just didn't blow me away like Bio 1 or anything. Imma need them to come harder if they drop a Bioshock this gen

I enjoyed the main game. Never played the DLC and will never likely go back and play the main game again.

Copped the collection just because.

I never played 2 and never beat 3. Will get around to it. I enjoyed what I played. Solid 9.0

Keep in mind OP, that overrated is not a synonym for "bad". Just means it was hyped up. And deservedly so, still one of the greatest games ever made. You can't take that way from the franchise. If TLOU is the GOAT with very clunky controls, then Infinite is Legendary.

One of my all time favorites but I can see why some wouldn't like it. Only having two weapons at once is a big one and many thought the story was overrated. I was so immersed in the environment and story that I didn't really care about the lukewarm gameplay elements, although I thought the vigor system was pretty fun as long as you got creative with it.

It's got some pretty harcore fans, but the ones who didn't fukk with it are far worse. Typing essays and making videos as to why the game was over hyped and overrated. Though I guess that's par for the course with anything that's widely praised.

This. Story-wise it's probably the best trilogy in gaming history. In hindsight probably would've worked better as a cable series than 3 games.

I didn't cop this game, but I did watch an entire Let's Play. Storyline started off good as shyt! I understand the main story is about Booker and Elizabeth, but I was disappointed they didn't dig deeper into the Daisy

They got more into her in the DLC. I realize most DLC nowadays is a cash grab but the "Burial At Sea" DLC expanded on the story a crazy amount.
