whats the longest road trip you been on?

worcester to rochester by greyhound..shyt was like 10 hrs and i didnt feel like driving dolo for that distance and for that amount of time...made one stop in albany..albany is such a bleak and grimey place...i felt like i was going to get robbed at that bus stop lol

Did Boston to Denver a few times with a friend when I was in school. Kansas and Pennslyvania are the worst states to drive through, but just go on and on with farmland and nothingness.

Real talk. I had music and I was blasting it, still falling asleep.

I took mad road trips. From DC to Houston (31 hrs), from NY to ATL (11 hours-speeding), Vegas to West Palm Beach, FLA (41 hrs ) . All I can say is have at least one other marathon driver with you, have a damn good GPS, Eat as little fast food as you can (that causes you to be sleepy), and have a spare gas container filled with gas just in case you can't find a gas station in time.

I find it hard to believe you drove from NY to ATL in 11 hours... even if you was speeding. Speeding only saves like 10-15 minutes.

11 hours is like around Raleigh NC... I went back to NYC by car this past summer and that's how long it took, ATL is like several hours away from the NC/SC boarder.

I can't see how its possible to drive from NYC to ATL in 12 hours doing 80-100 most of the way.

went from south Florida to north Jersey last year in a rental minivan. did it in about 21 22 hours, with one stop for food. had myself and two other drivers. on way back was just two of us. I took wheel somewhere in south Carolina and got us back home. folks I went with had gone before and said not speed in south Carolina and also Georgia. the highway patrol there ain't nothing to play with. and gets boring just seeing trees for miles.

The longest drive I have done by myself was from Birmingham, AL to Severn, MD. Took me about 10 1/2 hours. The 1st time I stopped was for gas. The 2nd time was to use the restroom and gas. I don't eat a lot when I'm on the road. I usually get some sunflower kernals and some juice. I don't drink apple juice though. Take a sip about once every 10 mins or so. Another thing that I do is listen to whatever station that I can get at the time. I can listen to the oldies to 60's, 70's, and 80's rock. For some reason it keeps me up and alert.

The longest ever was from Los Angeles, CA to Birmingham, AL with my G/F (now my wife). We started at 9am CST Saturday Morning. Made to some town in Texas right where we crossed into the Central Time zone. Then we left Sunday and we pulled into her driveway at 1am Monday morning CST. We did all of this in a Ford Contour that was packed up so tight that my feet had stuff under them with a bookbag in my lap for some of the way. That trip was easier because I wasn't by myself and she did about 1/2 of the driving. Use that cruise control because it does help with the MPG on the car.

ended up driving 24 hrs straight on the trip over 7pm to 7pm, including 8 n half hours in the worst snow storm of my life in Pennsylvania

The trip back was much easier stopped to sleep over night in Ohio, which was the best state of the drive

Overall don't see myself taking that trip again by car
