Do you have a link for this? Every official biography or verified story i’ve read said the opposite. Michael LOVED performing for his fans and touring the world performing. He didn’t enjoy The Victory tour for various reasons but the performing wasn’t the issue.

Also even if you own your Masters wouldn’t that give you MORE of a motivation to tour because touring helps album sales and catalog sales
Nah MJ hated touring

I couldn't imagine..all the adulation...men and women passing out at the sight of you...has to make you feel like a walking GOD:wow: his adrenaline was on 1000% probably...shyt like that was why he would get little sleep and we know how that ended up unfortunately:wow:

Whats bad about touring? :gucci:

Getting paid 6-8 figures to travel with first class flights and hotels paid for as well?
You ain’t traveling by plane everywhere. Think about a real city to city tour the cities are way too close to fly to. Nobody flying from dc to Philly and then Philly to New York. And you’re also performing back to back to back days. shyt is a grind.

I feel that but to even get a whole nationwide tour means you poppin enough to get well into the 5 figures or better per appearance. That’s worth being on a bus for a few months.

And taking a bus between NYC, Philly and DC ain’t the end of the world. Taking a bus from NY to LA would have me :picard:

Then again we stopping in wild cities in between prolly racking up at least a million along the way, I don’t see what the problem is.

I get what y’all saying but I don’t get what y’all saying

Yeah but if an artist isn’t big enough to do a huge 30 city tour then they’re not making enough money to fly first class everywhere on a smaller tour. So the travel situation for that type of artist is even worse. You mention money but after a certain point the money stops mattering especially when you’re making a lot off your music streams and sitting on your ass. And just performing at a few festivals for the big bag. And doing Instagram posts. Tbh I probably wouldn’t tour too often l either. I’d have a few fun cities (DC, NY, Houston, Atl, Miami, LA) I’d do residencies at every year and leave it at that.

Yeah there’s this example that they posted but there another video out there but I can’t find it of him talking about not liking touring. I think he was about to go on stage or something and somebody got a quick interview with him and the interviewer was saying something like “MJ tell us how much you love touring and the fans
And MJ was like :unimpressed:

Why are modern rappers complaining about touring? Most of the time they just lazily ad lib over their pre-recorded vocals.
I don’t think touring and performing are the same thing

unless you wanted to just diss modern rappers

I thought tours were way longer than that especially when they got shows outside the country

Then again I guess it depends on how poppin the artist is

And yea they’d make more in those 2-3 months than they would at any 9-5

No clue why artists be in the studio so much. You technically only gotta be there to record. Why dudes be paying for all day sessions just to sit around thinking of something when they could be doing that on their own time is beyond me :dwillhuh:
Cause most nikkas will get completely unfocused outside of being there with the gear. They pretty much bullshyt and make up shyt there on the spot, once they outside the Stu music last thing on their mind

touring can be very unfun, to say the least. even when you a top tier, there's just a lot of bullshyt to deal with and a lot of travel and logistics, blah blah blah. i aint mad at Mandem Savage

I say just do a Vegas residency. More artists need to take advantage of that Vegas money

I agree. I don't see the point in paying ticket prices just to see someone stand on stage with no energy, with 50+ other folks and half of them holding a mic.
