I'm so glad I got rid of my locs, low key nasty hairstyle for females because the hormones in our system.

That depends on how your hair grows naturally, mine took about a year or two.

Women go through a lot of hormonal changes regularly and our body is always naturally shedding, detoxifying and regenerating dead cells, more so than men.
Locs as you know are the accumulation of dead hair growing with new roots so a lot of the things that were supposed to be purged out of your system obviously stay locked in.

I did a lot of deep cleansing with my locs, apple cider vinegar, baking soda etc, but it will never truly be as clean as you need it.

Most of these chick's just dye their locs to cover up the junk that's really trapped in there.

How would this differ from any woman with long free flowing hair? We all have “dead hair” growing with new roots…maybe not the same amount of environmental dirt/toxins staying trapped but this stuff about hair length and hormones makes zero sense.

I had locs for over 10 years and I wasn't talking about hair length I was talking about a natural process of cleansing that the body does, even more so for females.

Hair that would of naturally shed off because it is dead or damaged is interwoven with new healthy hair, hence the term loc'd.

Obviously when your hair is not matted together it's easier to clean thoroughly, strand by strand.
