Human beings aren't really that smart.. think about your logic for a sec.. do thing because thing is popular and everyone else is doing it.. thing doesn't really add value to one's life and for 90%(bless the 5% that truly use it connect with their loved ones, and the other 5% that use it push their brand) of people outside of satisfying their inner narcissism... it does not and will not improve their financial situation simply because they are the product ..allowing anyone with an internet connection to pull your info by simply googling your name? All in exchange for what? Likes and followers? This is the value you speak of? ...and those of us who understands that this in no way improves our quality of life so we choose avoid it are considered lames? Am I taking crazy pills here

Let's be really 100% here. Most of the nikkas here are here way too often to have a really exciting life. I'm not judging either; I just assume you're low-status in real life, especially if ur spending time critiquing everything negatively.

Are you afraid/anxious when using non-anon social media? Are you just embarrassed by how little status you have? Do you avoid it because you can't lie when your face is attatches to it?

I don't want my ex all in my shyt. I can't unfriend her and her entire family but I don't want to rub my life in her face either

I wanted to quit social media for a minute, i hated when ppl hit me up just bc they needed some help.
I finally quit most social media after I started my first real corporate job. They do monitor that shyt.
I keep a LinkedIn and I have a generic ig for posting traveling pics and following thotties, i post no selfies, or alcohol related pics.

The only thing I miss is seeing all my homegirls bikini pics

I just stopped using Facebook..
Especially with exes drunk dialing me through Facebook chat

I didn't care to talk to former classmates. Most of em Anyway. I found the few I'm cool with and I'm good.
Snapchat I occasionally use. I just mostly post music clips and clips of me voice acting
Other than that I don't use much

You're on here and idgaf what nobody says if you're posting on a messageboard nikka you're on social media period. Don't get why cats try to separate the two and have some type of whoompty whoomp battle over which crew is faking, being lames, vain, etc. This is all the same stuff just different variations of it.

I`m 34 with 3 kids and a wife.

Social media serves no purpose for me for the most part. I`ll use FB but i only got 20 friends i think, so that's mostly just to keep up with pages i`ve liked (wrestling, football, nerd shyt).

The whole IG,snapchat,Twitter for the most part, i don't see how it has any value to me. Like what is the purpose of any of it (in my life) and how would it benefit me?

Twitter is dope to see what people think of TV shows and new music and current events etc.

Ig is dope to see other peoples lifestyles that we normally would not see but after it became people tryna brag and show off and it wasnt for me.

Facebook is good to see my fam and friends and whats going on in their lives.

with that said, the only one I kept was twitter because i only follow news sites, music stuff and video game stuff etc

deleted the others in Jan 2016.
