Drove through remote parts of East NY, Brownsville etc early 2000s late at night
No one in sight but looked like the aftermath of a war..
My boys had been in the area before late at night and had been stopped by the cops and made to lay on the ground with guns pointed at them and screaming nypd demanding to know what they were doing there.

East St. Louis….8 years ago. Went there for a get together with family i was linking with for the first time and I couldn’t believe how grimey it was out there. I didn’t have no issues with anyone but it felt like the devil was lurking around the entire time.
Dont have Detroit experience but was in Baltimore for no more than an hour around '99 to visit an old lady with my sister and her best friend.
Ol' lady immediately told me to sit by the window and keep watch on our car parked outside..said there was no chance it wouldn't be fukked with, as in everyone coming to see if there were valuables inside etc
Spoke to an old college friend and he said he was recently in B' More for the 1st time and got held up at gunpoint for the only 20 dollars in his wallet

Baltimore (don’t know what neighborhood) but I went in 2002 and then again in 2021 and nothing changed, some spots looked worse.

Yea, I drove across the country and we had to overnight in North Platte, Nebraska - literally the only black people at Applebees and at our hotel (and that we saw for our entire time there), shyt like that is scary.
Majority of black folk is in Omaha and Lincoln, but Nebraska in general is just miserable ass places across the board.

Cleveland Ohio specifically between woodland and central ave on E. 55th, if you know.. you know. certain spots in East Cleveland and spots off buckeye, spots off kinsman. i was not in danger cuz i was with people, but you dont go to them spots if u unfamiliar.

I get more scared riding through rich cac areas than I do any majority black area.

Came to say this. Crazy you say the devil cause the people looked demonic to me too. Being from Detroit I got a high tolerance for grimey shxt but being there definitely had my head on major swivel. Felt worse than being in St Louis even though a few days prior a young dude grabbed a K out the trunk outside the spot we were at. Had to dip up out of there.
