Websites that you have to register for, then you upload your resume, and STILL after uploading it you get to a page where you have to enter your education and experience. And if the site gets that info from the resume you uploaded then it outputs all fukking wrong and you gotta clean it up.

If I gave you my fukking CV why I gotta enter all that shyt?

Being interviewed to get an interview :dead:
That's basically what those Robert Half type agencies are doing when they make you come in for an "assessment" :mjpls:
I remember I met some 3rd party recruiter at starbucks once, dude basically just wanted to see me in person first. he basically said that straight up. when I was about to leave some ease dropping indian who was sitting behind us started talking to dude about what jobs he had. i never heard from dude again
Bet that recruiter followed up with the Indian because he "looked the part" :mjpls:

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
How long do you guys wait for an offer after the final interview?

For one job it's been 3 weeks already, so I'm losing hope :mjcry:

Another it's been 2 and the recruiter said I should get an update next week hopefully

and last 2 jobs I interviewed for last week just passed one week mark

I know the wait is usually between a week and 2 weeks, but I'm getting impatient :damn:
2 weeks max

I remember when I graduated and ain’t know how the game worked, a lot of spots wanted you to have a license in that state, and weren’t trying to help you move, and they wanted you to stop by their office aka check you out,

Then when i got my IL license, i remember riding all around the greater Chicago area getting jerked around, i remember it being like 3 interviews for this one company and they were spread tf out, for them to on the last interview ask if i wanted to do independent contract(pay them for the space, to churn my own practice out their office) i was like wtf

Some of them spots played mind games about pay, trying to trick you, well how much would you want to see if you would be too high or short yourself (i learned, what i want and what you can do, are two separate things, i can want a million dollars but that may not be feasible, so tell me what you can do) a lot of the shyt I’ll probably hang up on nikkas for or not call back i went for all that bs

I’m glad I’m a lot better at this shyt now, and can sniff the bs, i try to school the black rookies coming up in the game how to get over on that clown shyt, whenever I talk to any
Can't emphasis this enough. NEVER throw out the first number when talking to recruiters. The "how much are you looking to make in this role?" question recruiters ask is the dumbest shyt ever and a big trap. Tell ME how much the role pays and we'll go from there.

I see folks saying, "I did my research on Glassdoor and know what the market rate is for my experience and the role, so I just tell them what I want". That's a rookie move and you are pouring jelly on yourself. Different companies can pay massively different for the same job. That's not even factoring location, how desperate the team is, etc. And Glassdoor and the like, have outdated/imperfect data. Even friends who work in the same job can THINK they know what the job pays but they probably underpaid too.

I hate interviews that include mixers after hours. having too fake laugh for an hour is wack.

had a interview and they basically asked me to build a report (pivot tables with financial analysis) basically free labor. I wanted to charge them after I finished that shyt:gucci:
After a certain amount of time / effort invested, companies should have to compensate interviewees. They would stop the games if they had to pay people for the time they are wasting
