So what WAS the issue with Em singles? I thought after you sell so many you don't have to make a commercial radio single why did he have to keep doing them after the first album went crazy?

he basically spent his entire career trying to make another The Real Slim Shady for a single

which, as corny as it was in hindsight, was one of the biggest songs i've ever witnessed. the perfect mix of catchy/em shock value lyrics/pop culture/shytting on other celebrities. fukkin song was on the radio every 10 minutes. so i get why it probably meant something to him, and he tried making more of them

looking at all the other bullshyt songs in here, i'm realizing how bad he was just trying and failing at making that song again
