Big back babble :skip: writing thinkpieces about the munchies instead of looking up the science behind metabolism and why we would die if the body's fuel consumption was higher (also you'd get fired for making your robot the same way ) also there's a basis in the divine - higher powers are making sure you have discipline to choose better foods, exercise every day, and save enough for everyone :feedme:...you're sounding less as aprogrammer and more like a rube asking why their computer is so slow after hoarding files :snoop:

300 calories from nothing more than a handful of nuts,

Idk what nuts u talking about :dame: but a handful is far less than 300 calories and you forgot to factor in the nutrients and vitamins.

You know how you can't delete files on a corrupt hard drive? That’s fat. It’s undeletable bloatware

:gucci: do you mean fat or FAT :troll: also this analogy makes no sense cuz u can lose bodyfat

This isn't a temple, it’s a beta-test that went wrong, and the Developer ghosted us a million years ago.

This what ppl r saying about this website nowadays :lolbron:

We aren't living the lives we were intended to live. the design is perfect for the original human.

Your ancestors were hunting fcking sabertooths and mammoths , while you do your modern hunting in the grocery aisle. If you descend from a coastal people, your ancestors were even hunting whales . If you did what your ancestors did every day of your life you would never have a calorie overage.

And because of how uncertain this type of hunting was, you had to retain energy for as long as possible. Hence fat.

There is nothing wrong with the system. The issue is your lifestyle. And humanity live that way for 300,000 years. It was only until recently that we had calorie issues.
Not only this... we didn't use to eat all the time. Our bodies are built for endurance. We fail at almost every other physical attribute compared to most animals, except endurance.

Like Horses, we sweat to regular our temperature to maintain our high performance in physical activity. Horses are obviously have better physiques but we are better are temp regulations because we have more sweat glands across our body. We arguably have better endurance, pound for pound than horses because we require less food to operate at the same levels.

And like dogs and horses, we produce endorphins when we run.

There's more but our bodies crave a high calorie diets because we are built to move. Our seditary lifestyle is a recent development and its slowly killing us. Our bodies are efficient for what it was meant to do.

Bingo.

One of the reasons African homo sapien humanoids beat out European Neanderthals was that Neanderthals needed far more calories per day to sustain their bodies (I've heard up to 5,000 if not more).

Our ancestors were more efficient, like the smart cars of the animal kingdom. We could survive off fruits, veggies, plant protein, animal protein etc.

The tradeoff is that we can consume calories MUCH MORE efficiently than we can burn them. In a survival situation, it's ideal but in our first world comfort zones, it sucks and makes us gain weight easily. Not to mention that sugar/fat etc., tastes so damn good. Fruits and veggies are delicious but they don't quite activate those dopamine centers like pizza, chips, ice cream etc.

:wtf:Humans like all other animals are supposed to only eat when hungry, eat until you are not hungry anymore and live an active life style.

The body holds fat because thats our energy source, if you don't use enough it gets stored for future use, thats a great system, problem is most people eat out of glutony and work sitting down.

Humans did not evolve and adapt to modern highly processed, high energy food. Anyone saying they instinctively know how much they're eating is lying unless previously weighed similar food. But then that ain't instinct.

For my part, I just do OMAD CICO, don't buy multipacks, don't buy highly processed foods unless I'm eating it that evening.
