They don't have real anxiety, like that one broad saying she got a BF and shyt. Anxiety causes you to have no motivation to do shyt because you're always nervous. I remember having shyt so bad I would hide from ppl and when I would take the bus I would start shaking like cray involuntary

Have you read Plato's Republic and his views on Utopia?

He covers this very well. Basically anxiety (and a whole host of other things, good and bad) are always far more prevalent in societies that are either oppulent, or very static.

In static societies people tend to focus moreso inwards on their own fears/future/place in the world.

However in societies that are either devoid of luxury or in constant flux (think wartorn), people always tend to have a very utilitarian view on life and their place in the world.

I could go on but I suggest reading it, its a great, short read and is always pertinent
Nah but I agree with you to an extent. I think it's due to the changes in society, social media being a factor, and also weed being normalized.

Where do you think your anxiety stemmed from?

You can talk to people thousands of miles away without getting out your bed, this makes actual interaction seem more complex than it already is, I understand why people would feel this way.

I blame the internet a lot for this. It's a social medium that forces people to turn inward. Create this persona of a social being but you only interact with your phone or computer. The addictive nature of these devices messes up your sleep cycle and creates drug like dependent anxiety.

I will say this, people that post videos of it on youtube are the worst  you have a disorder and you decide to share it will millions of strangers...
I think it's easier for them to make a video talking to the camera about it than it is to speak to someone face to face about it.

Stories of depression, rape, childhood abuse, etc are also made into youtube videos and talking to the camera can bring other people together who share similar stories. It can motivate them to seek help and them telling their stories on youtube can help others who suffer with problems.
