Somebody just need to come up with a viable alternative to MS Office and then I can finally tell MS to fukk off. And no, Google Apps and OpenOffice aren't viable options.

It makes sense if you look at the situation as a producer instead of a consumer. They invest millions of dollars in those products and I imagine they want to see some type of return even if the product didn't take off like they thought they would.

You dont just throw a bunch of money at something then say fukk it when everything doesn't go the way you wanted it to. Cancelling products because they aren't meeting expectations would devalue their brand.

Another example was the Zune
they abandoned the Zune. it was a smart decision it just was never gonna catch on and now the whole stand alone MP3 player thing is dying due to cell phones anyway.

Yea and its stupid. They need to highlight the phone, its ease of use, and the fluidity of the OS instead of a fukking camera
you have to understand that most of the big cheese at Microsoft is pushing 60.

they were in their professional primes when camera phones took off and think people still go crazy about the camera in 2013

I don't think it would matter most folks are happy with Apple or Android/Google's services. Most folks don't care for Microsoft's services.

True. I love my Ipad and Nexus but I'm getting this Surface 2. I need a mobile version of office for work and as great as the others are there is no substitute

they just keep highlighting the fukking camera features :dead:

:russ: I've said it a million times. You can't expect to market your devices around one hardware feature and expect to get a foothold against the competition.
