I felt he was doing decent as a babyface until they started that awful feud with Jack Swagger and Zeb.

That's the issue with Scripts. They don't have that Authentic feel to it. The Swagger feud could have been gold, but most of the shyt was so meh.

El Dios has been blessing yall with solid matches and has brought prestige back to Big Gold yet yall hate

is it the way he's booked?

is it the fact that wwe doesnt care much about the world heavyweight championship?

did he sleep with your mother?

I just dont get it:what:
I swear I was thinking this same thing Monday, truth be told the only reason I could see why people hate him so much is for the Eddie Guerrero car thing, which they have distanced him from. So what he's average on the mic I dont see complaints about D Bry or Dolph Ziggler dry ass

It's funny how the wrong booking move messes up a whole gimmick. Lets say Del Rio wins at WM 27.......is somehow booked into looking like that match causes Edge to be forced into retirement. Then you have a legit heel with good heat. Del Rio is solid in the ring but boring on the mic. Also it doesn't help that he hasn't had that one feud that you can really say was legit piff. his matches with Cena has been entertaining though. Ricardo and the whips made you want to see him. He doesn't have anything otherwise that says damn im hyped for this Del Rio match.

im sick of people saying you gotta have heat to be successful. its hard to get heat in todays era of wrestling. fans cheer the heels, boo the faces. as long as you get a solid wrestling match, that's all that matters. back then, the surest way to get heat would be to go after the number one good guys. which were hogan, ultimate warrior, bret hart. its not that easy anymore. you attack cena, nobody cares.

1. His WWE career has been characterized by storylines that go absolutely nowhere. Like that five month feud with Sheamus or his face turn.

2. He never committed to the rich b*stard gimmick. Sure, he had the cars and the personal ring announcer, but the "b*stard" part never stuck--he never did anything as outrageously despicable as Million Dollar Man dangling money in children's faces, or JBL doing border patrol. Show, don't tell.

3. For all the talk about him being solid in the ring, his moveset sucks. As a heel he works that methodical (read: slow) style like Orton, but unlike Orton we all know he's better than that

To be honest Del Rio should have put a post match beatdown on Edge with a Piledriver, safety as possible, and then Edge could have said Del Rio ended his career. Major heat right there.

I don't get the hate either. I understand that his character was forced down our collective throats, but I got over that a couple of months ago when I realized all he does is put on great matches with nearly whomever he's facing. He doesn't get much heat (at all) but dudes in ring work won me over as a fan, and this is coming from someone who despised seeing him on my television 6 months ago.

LOL@compaing his matches to Blandy. Are you fukking nuts? Del Rio strikes better, carries easier, and works a MUCH faster and more realistic pace than Blandy. Which is absurd considering he's older than him and definitely not smaller.

I've heard this twice before. I REALLY like the cross arm breaker as a finisher. Am I in the minority with this opinion?

Well how can I say, it's not a convincing Submission to the eye. Even in MMA is a easy submission to block against. What he should do is a Twister, no one would complain about it because it's fukking deadly.

Nah, breh.

I'll give you better striking, hell, I'll even give you better moveset than Randy, but he works slow as a heel.
