Whats with the increase of ads?

My bad yall, but the with adding the 3rd server (and having to add more in the future as the site grows) and revenue going to its lowest since like 2015 I had to do things differently and link with this company that basically handles everything in house. If i didn't, with the way revenue was decreasing, the site would stop paying for itself by the end of summer

I was on a conference call w/ their whole team at 1pm today and they're gonna get the expanding add issue fixed. I disabled mobile ads for now for ya'll and just kept it on for guests, i'll either leave it off or put the regular old ads until they fix the issue.

If the site needs money and just being a supporter isn't enough , then you guys should run occasional drives ala Wikipedia. With a goal in mind and maybe do it 4 times a year to cover server costs .

Encourage folks to donate a minimum amount and include a progress bar. I'd donate to help out.

Rather see that then this intrusive ads .

I like this solution. Because of the ads I had to switch from Chrome to Safari and turn on content blocker. I would donate more often if that led to no ads for supporters.
