Robert Horry was a ROLE PLAYER, fukk yall keep bringing him up for. What's next you going bring up Shaun Livingston or James McAdoo or some dumb shyt
If your premise can be so easily refuted it needs adjustments. How much more money did Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki,Ray Allen, Paul Pierce make outside of their salaries for their rings?

I love when they say player should "take less money to win a championship". 1st off it's not guaranteed you win a title but let's say for arguments sake you do win. Let's use the NFL as an example

20 years after the Super Bowl win outside of the immediate fanbase of the team, the only figures people give a shyt about are the QB and head coach:heh:

The exceptions are

1.)You're a Ray Lewis, Jerry rice, Lawrence Taylor, Reggie white type of guy.
2.)You are make a once in a lifetime play like Malcolm butler or David Tyree.

Nothing. It's admirable that majority of them do care about winning even after multiple contracts

Nothing is wrong with earning as much money as you possibly can. Assuming it matters, there are only a select few players who are actually judged on whether or not they win a title. So the rest of the should realistically go after the largest contract offered to them. If they take less to pursue a championship, I guess that's commendable.

Nobody is going to make a 30 for 30 about Joe Johnson's inability to win a title. Could you imagine what they would have said about Lebron if he retired without winning a title?

Huh :what:
You just compared 4 guys who all won for the most part, so i'm not even sure what you're trying say.
Horry was essentially a role player so obviously his marketability was only so much and Tom Brady gives the patriots discounts every year and still gets all kinds of endorsements so iono why you bringing him up either

7 is more than 6 breh. Yet the guy with 6 has waaay more money. Or compare Horry to Hakeem. Or compare Horry to Magic, a guy who played in a less lucrative era.

Also, 5 is greater than 2. Yet Manning has made more in terms of both contracts AND endorsements.
