From what I see, they're pulling from both parties on the issues. Seems rational.
Whats their more extreme stances?

The most extreme to you might be the anacap camp.
We support anarchy or the removing of the state as a whole and favor a system of government known as voluntaryism.
As for the political party and the minarchist in that, removing of the safety net might be an extreme position, but Gary Johnson doesn't believe in that and neither does his VP.

Ask away and I'll answer your questions, (everyone)

They get many social issues right, but fail when it comes to economic issues. They want to remove barriers to the fuller realization of private tyranny.
Most of us would say its the exact opposite, and that it is those who favor government regulation of commerce that actually support state tyranny and the creation of kleptocracy.

I can get down with seriously downgrading the size of the federal government, but voluntaryism sounds like some utopian shyt.

It isn't utopian in concept, it isn't predisposed to creating a heaven on earth or ending of worldly problems, just a suggestion for a better way to live with less violence and threat of violence.
That said some of us support this camp, others support minimal government.

They're either either paranoid hairy-backed bologne sandwich-eating 2-way radio carrying inbred cousins of Hacksaw Jim Duggan who watch for black helicopters with nighttime binoculars or entitled dikkheads who are too swagless to even be hipsters who walk around with copies of Atlas Shrugged and whose very words possess the power to make vaginas dry.
One of my friends is like this. You described him to a tee. It's almost kind of scary.

They want to get rid of pretty much every social program the government funds.

So unemployment, welfare, food stamps, socialized healthcare, etc. Survival of the fittest basically.
Eventually but not even in their term even if reelected
