I have Amazon Prime Chase Sapphire Preferred and a Navy Federal Card the Navy Federal is like 12% APR so I keep it to roll over debt.

I like the AMEX Plat but I'm concerned about the acceptance rate overseas The Chase suite is not what it once was.

I have 4 credit cards:

apple card, which is 3% cash back on apple, walgreens, uber, exxon, nike and something else. 2% on any apple pay purchase. I mainly use it for apple purchases, walgreens and nike (since the outlet is less than a mile from me). sometimes they will double the cash back as well. I remember it was 5% for a month for groceries and 6% for a month for nike and apple. that's when u wanna go ham on this card.

BOA Unlimited is my main card cuz it pays 2.625% on all purchases. I pretty much use this for all my day to day stuff that's not covered by the other cards.

BOA customized cash rewards is my card I use for groceries cuz it pays 5.25% on online purchases, which counts even when I use the sam's or walmart app in the store to pay for my purchases. it pays 3.5% on all groceries as well. I used this car to purchase my iphone this year and I got $67 cash back just on that alone :whew:. the 5.25% cash back also applies to buying stuff from the playstation store and amazon.

my final card is my costco citibank visa. I use this for all fuel purchases. it pays 5% for gas at costco and 4% everywhere else. so on a $50 fillup, I'm getting $2.50. so just from gas alone, I'm getting $90 a year, which more than pays for the costco membership in itself. furthermore, I get 3% cash on all travel, and I buy a shyt ton of plane tickets cuz my kid lives in texas and comes up here every couple months. this also counts for rental cars and hotels to boot. also forgot to mention, this card pays 3% cash back on all restaurants as well.

You must have platinum honors. I’m not trying to move $100K or whatever they want from Fidelity to Merrill Lynch.

I have that Custom Rewards card I just use it for my apartment laundry account to load money and set it to 3% online purchases cash back.

yeah I'm on the platinum tier, which is why I get 75% more rewards with BOA.

it was super easy to get platinum. all I did was roll over a few retirement accounts from old jobs and my personal investment account. straight cash wise, I only have like $8000 in BOA. the rest is invested with merrill lynch.
