:russ: i just finished watching the extended trilogy on blu-ray today...took me about a week :whew: shyt is like 10 hours plus..almost like watching a season of a tv series

ive seen all a bunch of times and i always come to the same conclusion...return of the king.

shyt was just epic from start to finish

although the two towers is a close second, that battle at the end :ohlawd:

the fellowship, i found the second half of the movie to be a bit boring, but its still great

Because the much hyped "The Hobbit" was coming out this weekend, I finally decided to watch all 3 of the LOTR movies for the first time EVER, last week. And it was the extended versions I watched, so it took me almost the whole week to watch them.

The first 1 was definitely the worst because of how slow the movie. To me it's almost a coin flip between the 2nd & 3rd movie.

Two Towers is the most entertaining

Return of the King is the most epic

but the best overall film is Fellowship. TT and ROTK all had their flaws and issues. but Fellowship is literally the best possible adaptation of the book that could be made on film. imo, it's a perfect movie

Hold your ground,
hold your ground!

Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my
brothers!

I see in your eyes
the same fear that would
take the heart of me.

A day may come when the
courage of men fails, when
we forsake our friends and
break all bonds of
fellowship, BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY!

An hour of woes and
shattered shields, when the
age of men comes crashing
down! BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY!

This day we fight!

By all that you hold dear on this
good Earth, I BID YOU STAND, MEN OF THE WEST!

It's close, but I gotta go Return Of The King. Aragorn had me ready to storm the gates of Mordor :salute:
