What's your honest opinion on Born Sinner?

Aight so I'm a frequent poster on KTT (place has some of the most ignorant users I've ever come across and the WOAT music opinions) and its basically impossible making a thread on Cole over there because of the blind hate from insecure Ye stans. But, anyway I decided to make one over here because everyone seems chill here (at least from what I've seen) so what are ya'll honest opinion? I think this album is great. He's definitely stepped his production game ALOT. Some of the beats on this shyt are just beautiful. That intro was perfect. The way he weaved in and out that beat was flawless The different variety of flows also kept me interested. His song writing has always been great in my opinion which was great on this album. I think this album heavily relied on song writing rather than lyricism which isn't a bad thing if you do it well. I think he nailed it with the concept as well. Very Solid album. 8.5/10 what do ya think? (still waiting on that truly yours 3 ) oh and Power Trip is one of the best singles to come out this year if not the best so far.

That was a 6/10. This is a 7/10. I think it will have much more replay value down the line.

There's just something missing though. For Cole's sake, I'm hoping he did produce most of this. Because if he didn't, I can't see how he can get better. If he did, that's an excuse to fall back on, that on better production he would be better.

Then you came to the wrong forum - seems like everyone hates him here. I thought it was a good album, a lot darker than his debut album. I think he tried to capture the feeling of Friday Night Lights but it went wrong somewhere. Definitely a good album but I keep waiting for J. Cole to drop a masterpiece like The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights.

You can't blame it on the music if you have such a short attention span but that actually isn't your fault. There's just too much music out there that the market is so clogged up with average shyt.
