We talk about it but we also agreed we wouldn't be mad if we didn't have any. But we also kind of plan to have 1 or 2 by 35. If it happens it happens.

I'm 33, in a serious relationship and will 100% not have kids. My gf is on the same page and we're good with this. However, when other people here about this they often think were selfish, or will miss out on something amazing. Which I think is none of their business.

As I've gotten older, I've warmed up to the idea of having them, at least in theory.

I don't see myself having kids for at least another ten years, and even then I don't know because the world is and isn't getting any better.

My dad is a boomer and tells me all the time, "My generation didn't leave yours shyt." What will this generation leave the next when we don't even have shyt now (collectively)?

I’m 33 with 4 kids....same mother. We’re no longer together. I love my kids to death but if I had to do it all over again I’ve would of waited a little longer. No one should feel rushed into having kids especially if you’re not mentally and financially ready. It’s okay to either not have kids or wait until your 30’s and 40’s. By that time, hopefully you’ve seen the world, accomplished things and mature enough to have children which will only help their upbringing.

I never thought I would have kids but I can’t imagine my life without my son and daughter. They are 80% percent of the reason I work and grind and hard as I do. They aren’t for everyone I admit. Not everyone is built for it. So I don’t trip folks don’t want children. Being a parent should something not accidental or pressured into it.

I'd like to and I've always wanted to. Growing up poor however, has made me anxious about the financial aspect of it. I'm doing very well these days but it is hard to get over that anxiety. I wouldn't want my kids to go through what I went through.

I'm 37 with 2 kids but I don't look at people without kids as strange. I think that is something boomers look down on but fukk then they're all dying off anyways. If you don't think you're emotionally ready or mature enough to have kids and deal with responsibility then don't have kids, you'll end up resenting then. That said, if you're waiting to be financially ready to have kids, you'll never have kids because you'll never be financially ready. Unless your financially destitute, you'll find a way to make it work. I'll be honest before we had my son I was starting to have no issues with having no kids, the freedom was nice but I have no regrets.
