Yeah a good portion of the forum being white is the only explanation I can come up with. I respect the fact that we all have different perspectives and are not one monolith. However, I don't know any black person (besides a c00n) that reacts to the possibility of a right wing autocratic takeover with the level of smugness and regurgitated right wing talking points as I've seen on here.

I'm not advocating for those things I just looked at the state of black america the last time Republicans completely controlled the government and black employment was higher then when democrats did.
I say that to say the scare tactics aren't matching with historical prescedants.
3 strikes / crime bill was a democrat creation and continued the sharp trend upward for incarceration and unemployment for black Americans .
It didn't begin to trend down until Obama.
