Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'm not seeing the exceptional quickness, particularly with the ball in his hands.

Also, he's the epitome of a finesse player. He is a guy who hates to be crowded.

Decent prospect, but nothing exceptional from a skill standpoint. He's just another guy

Nah, his quickness and first step are definitely elite, compare him to other SG/SF prospects the last 5 years and realistically who is as quick? I know you don't like him but he is elite there.

Let's compare him to Paul George... he's just not as smooth as George. Wiggins is way more herky jerky in his game.

That's a big deal. Paul uses his patience and smoothness to his game to help set up his release for his jumper. Wiggins has none of the patience in his game. Wiggins lacks ALOT of basketball instincts that no one talks about, breh.

Sure, but neither are as quick as Wiggins appears to be. He and Exum are the only dudes in the draft with truly elite first steps.

If his handle is better, and he's quicker, he should be able to do just as well if not better :yeshrug:

Yea, I'm not here to judge Wiggins off a draft video. The things you can't teach are quickness and hes already elite there. What remains to be seen is if he knows how to use it to be a 25ppg scorer in the next couple years.

What's a good word for non-fluidity? Viscous? Wiggins is that. He should take up yoga or something. I'm serious. Everything he does look so robotic and un-natural. I do think he can be a good player, but unless he becomes WAYYYYYYYYY more fluid with and without the ball, he will never be a superstar. Embiid just started playing basketball and is more fluid in his movement than Wiggins.
Gotdamn, thanks for proving that I'm not in the Twilight Zone were the obvious is simply glossed over.

Easy to tell what kind of talent this guy is.

And on the flipside, George isn't nearly as quick as him.

Wiggins doesn't have patience, he's 19 breh, you're comparing him to a 24 year old seasoned NBA vet. Coming out of college PG had an even worse handle than Wiggins and it's something he's still improving.

You don't necessarily need to be all that smooth when you have elite quickness, at his size there isn't a prospect in recent memory as quick as him. Coming off screens and picks you have to figure that he'll learn how to use it.

You're perfectly describing Shawn Marion in this post

St Louis Rams!!!!!
Still dont think is guy is more athletic than Lebron during those Cavs days. He may have the higher Vert. But Bron back then was dunking anything when he went to rim

So, you'd be mad at getting someone similar to Shawn Marion, when Shawn's best season was 22/12/2/2? :lupe: He's a better shooter than Marion was, so we could bump the scoring up a little and lower the rebounding a bit, how is that not a top 3 player in this draft?

LeBron is a once in a generation type of athlete, Wiggins is a great athlete but Bron had about 40lbs on him at the same age with the same type of athleticism.

Check out the turn around J, brehs :mjlol:

The next LeBron... not!

The next Kobe... not!

The next Harrison Barnes... yea probably :laff:

I'm not even stanning here, but this just caught my eye. Do you know INCREDIBLY UNFAIR that comparison is? Kobe's game was so polished coming out of high school it wasn't even funny. About the only thing he was lacking was a post game and footwork in the post.

But back to Wiggins...

From what I just saw, he is extremely quick and has a decent handle. His jumper didn't look too bad either. He is stiff though, kinda robotic. If he is a worker in the summer, in 2 or 3 years he could be a problem. Dude has ELITE athleticism! Did you see how casually he did that opposite 360?

If Wiggins works hard to improve his game, he'll be great. If KD can improve his ball handling than so can Wiggins. He has all the physical tools to succeed at a high level. The NBA game is a lot more wide open, so that bodes well for him.

I'll say it again, if he ever develops a 1-2 dribble pull up, he'll be a force. His first step is elite, his jumper doesn't look nearly as broken as Bron's at the same age, and he has the length and lateral quickness to be a great defender.

There's no reason he can't be a top swingman in 4-5 years.

Physically, the only thing I question is his body control. That's what really makes Kobe special IMO. He might not need it though, T-Mac wasn't necessarily the best there. But like Tracy, dude has range. You can't teach that.

You should watch that sports science video on Wiggins, it details and shows how he has freakishly elite body control
