You don't know the circumstances behind a person being a single parent. Their spouse could've died I mean it could be anything, not always "the obvious". I really don't get why some of you have a problem with a woman saying her kids come first, what else is she supposed to say. A lot of times it's bad wording when that phrase is thrown out there, I take it to mean "I'm not just out here dating or what have you, I'm also raising a family and my time is limited at times". I think it's good too because she's also allowing you into her life. Everything don't have to be so black and white.

Their mother probably didn't put them first. I mean can you imagine walking up and ya mom pouring her new bf some milk and left you none

I agree with you either way, I personally have witnessed this a few time so I just wanted to add to the convo. I think other breh have witnessed the same as well.
