I was definitely under 10 and I saw the website rotten.com. That shyt blew my mind when I saw that shyt.
Kids in my computer class where browsing that shyt. That's when the fairytale mirage got eradicated. I dead ass regret seeing that shyt as a kid.

Parents splitting. More like my mother abandoning us. I was nine years old at the time. Before then I didn't even think my father could cry.
I remember him picking me up for school extra extra early and he didn't say a word but I knew something wasn't right. I was like :why: trying to figure out what was going on.
We started walking home and then he stopped and put his arms around me, hugged me, and broke down crying. :to:
I only know of two occasions where my dad cried. When my mom left us and when his mother passed away.

6 years old my mom dated some dude who wasn't right. One day she locked him out and we had to call the cops - dude was banging on all the windows and shyt and we're inside scared AF that he might have a gun.

11 years old. Old lady lost her job and one day they came and repossessed half our furniture. 6 months later we were nearly homeless, but my uncle held us down. I knew money was tight so I used to pretend I wasn't hungry. My bro didn't give a fukk, he just used to eat everything. fukked up thing is I'm younger. Things did a complete 180 just a few months later.

Staying in a rundown motel and then going off to a prestigious school (full scholarship)was such a bizarre experience.

The internet killed your innocence? Lol

Probably seeing violence/domestic violence growing up :francis:

I knew shyt wasn’t sweet early on in life

Do you know what rotten.com is? It's a site full of pictures taken by forensic photographers of fukked up deaths. Like this one dude who got decapitated by a helicopter propeller. Imagine seeing that shyt at 7-8 years old.

When my best friend was sent back to a adoption agency because the family didn’t like him because he was too dark

Pops splitting at 6 and never seeing him again

Seeing a cat I looked up to when I was 10yrs old blow his brains out changed me

These 3 incidents fukked me up. Made me grow up big time

That was it for me too. Seeing people get bullied at school at a really early age and violence at home. Also seeing my grandparents die in the hospital, how they looked on their deathbeds when I was 7 or 8 was fukked up. I just remember going to a lot of a funerals as a kid.
