When my best friend was sent back to a adoption agency because the family didn’t like him because he was too dark

Pops splitting at 6 and never seeing him again

Seeing a cat I looked up to when I was 10yrs old blow his brains out changed me

These 3 incidents fukked me up. Made me grow up big time

Above the fray.
Somebody stole by Blue Olympians (sneakers from Fayva) off the fire escape when I hung them out to dry. We lived in a big apartment building at the time.......and the fire escapes were connected and faced each other for the building.

Do you know what rotten.com is? It's a site full of pictures taken by forensic photographers of fukked up deaths. Like this one dude who got decapitated by a helicopter propeller. Imagine seeing that shyt at 7-8 years old.

Was on rotten for about a month till I had had enough.
Saw one dude who'd been run over by a semi truck and hed been squished by the giant tyre and was just like a paste coating the tyre.

Probably when I realized what it meant to be
Black in America.

Maybe I was 12 years old. That made me a cynical motherfukker

I think when I realized I could be really nice and still not get what I wanted. It didn’t make sense to me so I started not caring as much, after I got over the feeling of disappointment with the world.

Around the time I left religion and also realised family is just people related to you by blood, nothing more. People's actions are what you need to pay attention to, not titles.

I also realised around that time that no matter what people supposedly are to you, when they're ready, their own survival and self preservation is what will dictate their actions not blood relations or bible texts.

Basically I learned the hard way that the person in the mirror is the one who is truly there for you no matter what anyone says. People are full of shyt. They talk all that nice stuff about love and loyalty, but they will be the first ones to throw you under the bus with no fukks given when the opportunity arises, so fukk them. Look out for number one.

When my childhood sweetheart explained why she cheated after I found a letter she wrote to a dude she was fukking from out of town....

She told me I'm just too nice and she just took me for granted cause she knew I wasn't ever gonna leave her..

And she had this urge to be a FREAK since she was about to start high school...

That along with my baby mother cheating on me.....while I'm at work slaving myself and stressed da fukk as a casual temp out at the post office...

Turned me into a SAVAGE :demonic:

Parents splitting. More like my mother abandoning us. I was nine years old at the time. Before then I didn't even think my father could cry.
I remember him picking me up for school extra extra early and he didn't say a word but I knew something wasn't right. I was like :why: trying to figure out what was going on.
We started walking home and then he stopped and put his arms around me, hugged me, and broke down crying. :to:
I only know of two occasions where my dad cried. When my mom left us and when his mother passed away.
:wow:
