We all know that Blacks don't like buying from other Black folks
We get hit with all types of excuses but we won't blink an eye buying from the White man
So yea, some of us don't reveal we're Black-owned to remain profitable
You can't blame them because I think this is a whole community/culture issue in general

What about capitalism?
You mean the economic system that allowed him to build a successful company?

If you are talking aracism, you might want to read a bit more, he says not only do whites think its for blacks, but blacks don't want it because they think something is wrong with it.
black capitalism has never historically worked at all.. we have tried repeatedly to embrace capitalism but it has destroyed the black community and the whites in cooperation ditched the black owners and they fell into great debt; the playing field got too large so only a small number of blacks are allowed to be owners or else capitalism is disrupted. Capitalism and race are the two driving forces in the creation and sustaining of racial oppression in the United States.

Been running small businesses and had them fall apart from fukking with nikkaz. Next time. I definitely will not be the face. Not even in real estate. You gotta play the game. I think you can only show your face once your way up on a certain level. Even when I was working as a paramedic with this young azz teen white dude when I was 24. We was In the middle of the hood, in this chicago elementary school, to pick up this student. The young black woman counselor, even though I walked in first didn't even acknowledge that I was there! And waited and walked right up to the white kid. Ish was sad, and of course I knew more and the white kid was asking me questions. Just how it is in this brain washed society.

You are wrong.
Try to read Race and Economics and educate yourself on teh long history of black capitalist and business success in this nation.

The loss of a black economic base was mainly caused by blacks abandoning it because more than a few internalized white supremacist arguments that what they did themselves would never be as good as what white people did. Sad that even today business owners recognize that its still a large barrier to getting blacks to support black ownedbusinesses.

It also stated that a majority (55%) of black households making 50k or more actually would support Black business...

Be a glass half empty breh

What is glass half empty about what I said?
Nothing at all, I stated a fact from the article.

I peeped this early with my first business. I got a white boy to be the spokesman. 99% white clientele. They was spooked once they saw me running the business :whoa:

But they already paid so:yeshrug:

Just enjoy yourself this is handled. :ehh:

Everything went smoothly and I profited :jawalrus:
Yup, and like somebody said whites peep ish. Literally all black media is probably white owned. Ebony, bet, radio stations. Just how it is unfortunately.

Me and my girl deliberately made sure to put our pictures on our websites and social media (most of our IG followers are black because of it :blessed:)

My girl is different but I personally don't want white customers or clients. I have no desire to be around these devils in my personal life, and I sure as hell don't wanna be around them when it comes to business.

But the first person to put me on game was a black business owner in Cincinnati named Clifford Bailey. I was probably 22 and he told me he had to hire a white CEO because cacs didn't wanna do business with him. I'd rather struggle and do business with my own than have to hide my identity to get money from these wicked beasts.

It's one of the many reasons I can't wait to move to Ghana :blessed:

Read the book, "The Business of Black Power" it details how and why capitalism fails black people and is only made for the top 1 percent of the nation; it shows how blacks have tried throughout history to embrace capitalism and support black businesses for decades, but it failed because capitalism DOES NOT ALLOW too many players on the field...plus we are community people and capitalism inherently creates top down systems where the majority will always be working class and poor people still pushing for Black capitalism are either ignorant to how capitalism works and Black history or they don't want to believe that they live a system that ONLY works if the majority of people in the system have absolutely no chance of economic mobility. Its like the children who don't wanna believe there is no Santa; sad thing is, so many books are out there that show this and how the system works, yet people refuse to pick them up; I believe its the latter reason.
