Fukk that bytch she was probably making over 6 figures anyways.

But we’re supposed to feel for the wannabe petit bourgeois class when they feel just a FRACTION of what the average poor person goes through on the daily :camby:
This mindset is so pathetic.

I wonder what the salary looked like at Netflix compared to the union job
It had to be significant to make that move, but just to be let go after 2 months is bullshyt

There’s a class of workers in the US who are shielded from the true struggles of the poor and working poor. Being fired and laid off is the norm. No one is in an uproar about that.

These types are silent as fukk when it comes to these issues. Hell, a lot of the professional class is either directly or indirectly responsible for managing slave labor. Yet, when some blue check professional gets personally effected then they want to make it an issue. Not to fundamentally change anything, but often as a selfish tactic to get another job offer quicker.

So fukk that bytch, she’ll be alright. Maybe if she stopped living beyond her means with her 6 figure salary and read the contract, she wouldn’t have this issue.

So again, was this a genuine question or just you being purposely obtuse to try and win internet points? :unimpressed:
You know that person works just like everybody else, why even make enemies with the working class, you need to stop it with this phoney bologna fukk the 1% attitude, if u was really about that life you wouldn’t be shytting on the working class

I see nothing wrong here. You make less money at a union job but you have protections. You can go to Netflix and get paid more but you have no protections. He GAMBLED and lost. Oh well
Everybody should have protections

TYRONE GA!
Exactly. I used to think they got rid of the low performers or people without the skills. Yea, they do that, but they really lay off anyone. I've seen CEOs removed, VPs, Directors, etc. And it wasn't because they were poor performers, uneducated or less skilled. They just got booted.

We are all replaceable. Companies talk all that kumbaya shyt because they want to determine when you leave them. And as you said, need to have a backup plan. Especially in this recessionary climate. Everyone needs to start putting money aside.

Church, that's why I never burn bridges. And keep telling all my recruiters to keep me in mind for future opportunities just in case.

That’s sad but honestly it not a huge shock…

Netflix launches some random companion website that has ZERO buzz and then decides to pull back and let people go. Be honest have you even heard of or went to tudum…

this was a long shot position from the jump. At best this was a good year or two of salary and some stock. At worst this ends quickly and you have good resume material.

It’s no different than what google does where they start up 100 different projects and kill them off the moment they don’t seem viable.
They said they have a decade of experience.

They’ll find a new job in a month. :yeshrug::manny:

something is missing from her story. netflix has a system where they pay really well but also fire people at will if they don't perform well so she clearly fukked something up or is BSing.
