For nearly all his life...Supercat like most jamaicans of mixed east indian or asian ancestary had to not only have thier blackness questioned. ..but endure derogatory terms like "COOLIE BOY"
So when BOUNTI KILLA released the track "RIDING WEST"...Supercat saw it as a SUBLIMINAL DISS to those of East Indians. ...
Although BOUNTI KILLA emphatically denied that was the issue. ..
even to go as far as to DEFINE the lyrics as well as the difference between a HORSE and a A$$ when he stated he was RIDING WEST..as he states in this concert at the 9:30 mark:
"when i said A$$ i could be Talking about RIDING MY GIRL!!!"
SUPERCAT wasnt buying it
and rightfully so...because thier always has been tensions between the biracial Jamicans and Blacks which was intensified during this time of Classisim and Rasta Black Militants

and he didnt help matters by responding to Supercat with a track called "BLACK POWER"...which was a rant against Asian and East Indian business owners who Killa felt were exploiting black jamaicans

yeah it's NOT a good idea to threaten a guy like Supercat who spent time in the GP (general penitentiary) for bussing his gun alongside his breddrin Skeng Don and Willie Hoggart a man whom DEA said was responsible for a 30 percent of the Cocaine Distribution within the Carribean....
