breh do you only eat chitlins or something thats probably some of the cheapest Protien u can buy :dead:
With that said, chitterlings are barely protein. Those things are incredibly fatty and absolutely not something to eat regularly. That video posted earlier in the thread doesn't tell the whole truth of what that container of chitterlings are gonna look like in literally 10 minutes when the temp comes down. Big pan of pig guts and congealed fat.

My mother knows to cook this chewy stuff called TRIPE too. Very chewy but I only ate it like twice. I think she would boil it with all the trimmings...lol

You would be surprised, they eat them in asia HEAVY. When I was in japan, damn near every place that sold Yakitori(Meat Skewers) had pig intestines on the menu.
im not surprised. negros in america have a special history with chitters.

It's associated with slavery here but youand others in here are right. The pig isn't wasted like that on a worldwide scale.

Imagine looking at some intestines and thinking yeah let's season this up and eat it!
