The Only God Can Judge Me Motto, has really fukked our culture up AKA I'm fukking up, but don't you tell me anything about it.
This motto pretty much removed all the honor and shame from our community. Back in the day you couldn't seat in the front of the church unwedded with kids. It was shameful to be married with kids or not be a father to your kids. Now the Pastor and family are scared to correct people.
Seems like Black people as a whole can't take any criticism anymore true or false. We don't want anyone to tell our kids anything right or wrong. What happened to us? We were raised on the Hard Truth. Now when some calls us on something we don't even address the statement, we just attack the messenger and ignore the statement. Or we state White People do it too.
It's like our whole culture is taking on a feminine energy. Meaning never accept the truth. Sidetrack, derail, fight, debate, attack, insult, shame everyone and thing except the truth.
"Who hurt you"
"You're Momma Black"
"You're lame"
"White People do it too"
"No all"
It's really sad. I'm notice our men are becoming worse than the women.
My dad always told me, as long as you're making excuses you ain't make progress. And that's where we are.
